Recharge every 3-6 months, even
during periods of light or no use.

•

This product uses a sealed,
rechargeable lead acid battery.

IMPORTANT: Do not operate
compressor before reading instructions
or damage may result.

Regulator - The regulator controls the
amount of air pressure released at the
hose outlet. Turning the knob
clockwise (to the right) increases air
pressure at the outlet. Turning the
knob counterclockwise (to the left)
decreases air to the outlet.

ASME Safety Valve - This valve
automatically releases air if the tank
pressure exceeds the preset maximum.
This indicates that the pressure switch
is bad and that it should be replaced.

To recharge the battery using the 
120-volt AC adapter, follow the
subsequent procedures:
1. Push the main power switch to the OFF

position and insert the 120-volt AC
recharging adapter into the AC charge
input socket located below the antenna.

2. Plug the charger into a 110/120-volt

electrical outlet. The red light will
come on, indicating the battery is
recharging. 

3. Charge the compressor for 14 to

16 hours before initial use.
After subsequent uses, recharge the
battery for 7 to 9 hours. If the unit is
used too long after the yellow light
comes on, recharging time could
take up to 20 hours and the battery
life may be shortened.

4. Do not operate the unit while

recharging with the 120-volt AC
adapter. The charger could be
damaged if unit is operated
during recharging.

After the battery is charged, the
compressor is ready for use.

Charge the battery for 14 hours
before first using the compressor.
Use the charging adapter provided.

•

Recharge within 48 hours of use.

•

Make sure battery is fully charged
when storing.

•

If the battery is drained after the
green light is off, the life of the
battery may be shortened.

Drain Valve - This valve is located on
the bottom of the tank. Use this valve
to drain moisture from the tank daily
to reduce the risk of corrosion.
Drain moisture from the tank by
reducing tank pressure below 10 psi
then slowly open drain valve.

Pressure Gauges - There are two
gauges on the top of the unit. The
larger gauge indicates how much air
pressure is in the tank. The small gauge
indicates how much air will be coming
out of the regulator to the hose outlet.

BEFORE FIRST START-UP
BREAK-IN PROCEDURE 
(Complete this procedure before using
compressor for the first time. Once
completed, it is not necessary to repeat.)

IMPORTANT: Do not attach hose or tool
to regulator outlet until Break-In
Procedure has been completed.
1. Make sure fuse is installed 

(See Pre-Operation section). 

2. Fully charge compressor batteries

until green light is on.

3. Fully turn regulator knob clockwise

(to the right) to open air flow.

4. Turn ON/OFF switch to ON position.

5. Turn compressor/ radio switch to

COMPRESSOR and run compressor
for 5 minutes.

The compressor is now ready for use.

BEFORE EACH START-UP
OPERATING PROCEDURE 
1. Make sure fuse is installed 

(See Pre-Operation section). 

2. Fully charge compressor batteries

until green light is on.

3. Turn regulator knob fully counter-

clockwise (to the left) to close air flow. 

Moisture in compressed air will form into droplets as it comes from an air
compressor pump. When humidity is high or when a compressor is in continuous use
for an extended period of time, this moisture will collect in the fittings and hose.
When using a paint spray or sandblast gun, this water will be carried from the tank
through the hose, and out of the gun as droplets mixed with the spray material.

IMPORTANT: This condensation will cause water spots in a paint job,
especially when spraying other than water based paints. If sandblasting, it will
cause the sand to cake and clog the gun, rendering it ineffective. A filter in
the air line (MP3105), located as near to the gun as possible, will help
eliminate this moisture.

Green, yellow and red lights show
the battery condition. The green
light indicates a charged battery. The
yellow light indicates the battery is
low and needs recharging. The red
light indicates the unit is charging.

NOTE: Battery indicator lights should
be read while the compressor is not
running. The yellow light may be ON
when the compressor is running, this
is normal. With the compressor OFF,
if green light is off and the yellow
light is ON, the compressor should be
recharged.
