When users click the link to the application loader tool in the upgrade
instructions, the upgrade process does not start
Possible cause
The application loader might not be shared.
Possible solution
1.
Connect a BlackBerry® device to a computer on which the BlackBerry Manager is installed.
2.
At the command prompt, type \\<shared network drive>\Research In Motion\Apploader\loader.exe
3.
If the application loader tool starts, the tool is shared successfully.
