.NET Framework 1.1 Uninstall Issues
The .NET Framework uninstaller for Windows 2000 does not uninstall the 1.1 Framework completely,
causing the SMARTsend installer to malfunction. You need to manually delete certain registry entries to
resolve this problem.

CAUTION:
Windows registry editing can pose serious risks if the changes are not implemented properly.
Please perform a registry backup before proceeding.
To delete .NET Framework registry entries:
1) Click Start > Run.
2) In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK to start Registry Editor.
3) In the Registry Editor, delete the following registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\policy\v1.1
Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP4 Device Management Issues

Delete the .NET Framework folder from the top of the registry (not the v1.1 folder only).
