Using the Event Viewer

Use the Event Viewer to view the Windows 2000 event logs.
NOTE: For more information on reading and interpreting the
event log, refer to your Windows 2000 documentation.

To access the Event Viewer:
1. Select [Start: Settings: Control Panel] from the Windows
desktop.
2. Select [Administrative Tools].
3. Select [Event Viewer]. The Event Viewer opens. See Figure

4. Expand [Event Viewer] in the console tree to view the
different events.
