Editing the java.policy File

Before You Begin
Sign in to the IBM Lotus Domino Server as an administrator.
Procedure
Step 1
Navigate to

:\Lotus\Domino\jvm\lib\security.
Step 2
Double-click the java.policy file to open it in Notepad.
Step 3
Add the following line to the end of the file just before the closing brace (which looks like this 
“};”
)
permission java.util.PropertyPermission "java.protocol.handler.pkgs", "write";

Save and close the file.
