Release Notes for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing Release 6.0

  System Requirements
The following third-party software is supported on Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing 
servers, provided that the software is configured so as not to disrupt Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 
operations:
McAfee VirusScan Enterprise Release 8.0i or higher
McAfee AntiSpyware Release 8.5i or higher
Microsoft Windows Terminal Services (WTS). (WTS is not supported when installing or 
upgrading Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing. If you use WTS, the installation or 
upgrade process may fail.)
Virtual Network Computing (VNC is supported for installing and upgrading Cisco Unified 
MeetingPlace Web Conferencing.)
The introduction of unsupported third-party products may affect Cisco support for the product.
Caution
The Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing software installation process performs specific IIS 
configuration to fine-tune performance. Installing third party software which adds components to IIS or 
otherwise changes the IIS configuration could result in Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing 
performance degradation.
Determining the Software Version
Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing
To determine the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing software version, open a web browser 
and navigate to the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing home page. The software version is 
displayed at the bottom of the page.
Cisco Unified Presenter Add-In on a PC
Procedure
Step 1
Open a web browser and navigate to the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing home page.
Step 2
Sign in to Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing, then click Immediate Meeting.
Step 3
On the meeting room menu, click Help > About Cisco Unified MeetingPlace.
The Cisco Unified Presenter Add-in version is displayed at the bottom of the window.
