Installation Activities 
You and your MeetingPlace support representative perform a number of 
different activities to install MeetingPlace. The table that follows 
summarizes these activities and indicates who is responsible for each one. A 
representative from customer support installs the hardware, connects it, and 
helps you with the software. 
Before You Start  
Important safety instructions. Save these instructions and requirements. 
 
Never install telephone wiring during a lightning storm. 
 
Never install a telephone jack in a wet location unless the 
jack is specifically designed for wet locations. 
 
Never touch uninsulated telephone wires or terminals unless 
the telephone line has been disconnected at the network 
interface. 
 
Use caution when installing or modifying telephone lines. 
 
High leakage current—earth connection essential before 
connecting supply. 
 
Any changes or modifications to this equipment which are not 
expressly approved by Latitude Communications could void your 
right to operate the equipment.
