Broadcast Traffic 
 
If the rate of broadcast or multicast packet generation on 
the LAN segment exceeds an average of 40/second, the 
Ethernet link from MeetingPlace into the local LAN must 
be configured for 100Mb to avoid congestion of the link. 
 
If broadcast and multicast traffic exceeds 100 
packets/second, the MeetingPlace system should be 
isolated from that segment using a router.
