For reservationless meetings that have not yet started, MeetingPlace prompts 
the invited participants to record their names and then places them in the 
waiting room. All profile users are given the option to start the meeting with 
their own MeetingPlace profile if they desire. 
Controlling Conferences In-Session 
Through a touchtone telephone interface, MeetingPlace provides users with 
several powerful features to use during a conference, including: 
 
Breakout sessions 
 
Roll call/who’s talking 
 
Outdial 
 
Lock meeting 
 
Mute line 
 
MeetingNotes™ 
 
Initiating a reservationless meeting 
 
End meeting 
 
Note: The roll call feature is limited to announcing a list of the 
first 120 participants. This applies to roll calls enacted both in 
session and through MeetingNotes. 
Advanced Meeting Management Features 
MeetingPlace provides a number of advanced meeting management features 
over the telephone, such as announced entry and departure, end-of-meeting 
warning, and automatic extension of meetings if resources are available.

Meeting Types 
“Meet Me” Meetings 
MeetingPlace enables users to easily attend “meet me” conference calls at a 
predetermined time and date by dialing a given telephone number and using 
a meeting ID number. Each of the participants can speak and listen equally. 
MeetingPlace provides meeting features such as breakout sessions, roll call, 
outdial, lock, mute, and MeetingNotes

 that can help ensure users conduct
