About MeetingPlace Language System Option
The MeetingPlace Language System Option offers support for up to four
languages simultaneously. Users may select to hear prompts in one of the
available configured languages. When no language has been selected, the
system always defaults to US English.

Each system contains only the prompts for the languages installed and
configured. For more information on installing additional languages, contact
your MeetingPlace representative.
Languages can be selected at the meeting, user profile, and port group level.
These language selections determine the language MeetingPlace uses at any
given time. For example, while in a meeting, prompts played to the entire
meeting are played in the meeting language, while prompts played to
individuals are played in the language specified by the user’s profile or the
language selected while in the system.
Enabling the MeetingPlace Language Option Key
An option key is an alphanumeric string similar to a serial number that needs
to be entered into the MeetingPlace database to activate a system option. To
enable the MeetingPlace language option key:
1.

Locate the option key on the license document.
2.

Open MeetingTime, and select the Configure tab.
3.

Select the System Options topic, and then click Query.
4.

Use the right arrow button (near the Query button) to locate the option
for Languages.
5.

In the Number of licenses field, enter the number of languages for your
MeetingPlace system.
