Cisco Collaboration Server ScriptBuilder Guide – Version 5.0
ScriptBuilder Maintenance
ScriptBuilder maintenance includes:
•  Removing unnecessary scripts and script content
•  Backing up the ScriptBuilder Content directory and user-defined scripts
Removing Unnecessary Scripts and Script Content
Using the ScriptBuilder feature, you can delete any scripts or script items from the
Collaboration Server database.  By deleting unnecessary scripts and script content,
you increase the amount of free memory in the database.
In addition to preserving memory, removing unnecessary scripts and script content
improves script manageability and effectiveness.  You have fewer scripts to maintain
and organize when you delete idle or obsolete scripts and you make the remaining
scripts more concise and helpful by removing content that is not being used to assist
callers.
Review your scripts regularly.  You may want to ask agents for feedback on the
scripts, including how often they use specific scripts and script content.  Delete any
scripts that are no longer in use, and remove script content that agents are not
sharing often.
Backing up the ScriptBuilder Content Directory
When you upload content to a script, the content is stored in the ScriptBuilder
Content directory, located at drive:\Cisco_CS\pub\html\scriptBuilder\content.  You
should back up this directory and your user-defined scripts regularly to maintain and
protect a current copy of your scripts.
