Configures the activation restrictions of PDP context on the basis of the access type and QoS class.

Exec > Global Configuration > APN Profile Configuration 

configure > apn-profile profile_name

 

Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt: 

[local]host_name(apn-profile-profile_name)# 

 

[ no ] restrict access-type { eps | { { gprs | umts } [ qos-class { background | 
conversational | interactive | streaming } ] } } 

default restrict access-type {gprs | umts } 

 

Remove the restriction rules for PDP context activation configured in this APN profile. 

 

Resets the restriction rules for PDP context activation to the default values to allow all access types and with 
QoS class for GPRS and UMTS. 

 

Configures the APN profile to restrict the PDP context activation from General Packet Radio Service (2.5G) 
network access. 

 

Configures the APN profile to restrict the PDP context activation from Universal Mobile 
Telecommunications Systems (3G) network access. 

 

Configures the APN profile to restrict the PDP context activation to a specific QoS traffic class. It is optional 
and can be configured after selecting the network access type. Possible traffic classes options are:

: Specifies the QoS class as background service session 



 

: Specifies the QoS class as conversational service session 



 

: Specifies the QoS class as interactive service session 



 

: Specifies the QoS class as streaming service session
