Managing Playouts

In some cases, you many need to change a particular attribute of a repeated playout 

during its run, without changing the entire run. You can break a playout into two 

independent playouts. Either playout can be changed independently.  

To break a playout into two independent playouts, complete the following steps. 

1. 

Log in to the TSBroadcaster as a user with the appropriate privileges. See Log 

In to the TSBroadcaster, in Chapter 3. 
After a successful login, the Home Page opens.  

2. 

Click the Playouts button from the navigation bar. 

 

Result:  The Manage Scheduled Playouts Select Page opens.  

3. 

Select a TSBroadcaster stream for which you want to delete a playout. 
Result:  The Manage Scheduled Playout Page opens. 

4. 

Click the View Playouts button. 

 

Result:  The View Scheduled Playouts Page opens. This page contains a Java 

applet, showing a view of the scheduled playouts as bars on a time axis. If the 

applet fails to launch, consult Java Applet Fails in Chapter 11.
