Manage Bit Rates
Introduction
The total carousel bit rate is partitioned so that each playout is allocated its
nominated bit rate, plus, if requested, a share of any spare bit rate left over in the
carousel. If an application set is required by more than one playout concurrently,
then a single instance is shared between all the playouts that reference it.
Managing Bit Rates
To see how the bit rate is being allocated in a particular carousel, complete the
following steps.
1.
Log in to the TSBroadcaster as a user with the appropriate privileges. See Log
In to the TSBroadcaster, in Chapter 3.
After a successful login, the Home Page opens.

Click the Playouts button from the navigation bar.
Result: The Manage Scheduled Select Playouts Page opens.
3.
Select the stream for which you want to manage bit rates and click Select.
Result: The Manage Scheduled Playout Page opens.
Result: The Manage Scheduled Playout Page opens.
