Using the TSBroadcaster

Get to Know the TSBroadcaster User Interface, Continued 

When the TSBroadcaster detects an error in a command or data entry, it displays an 

error message in the error message display area, and also, if appropriate, highlights 

the legend of the field in error.  If the TSBroadcaster displays an error, you can 

modify the data and try again; abandon the operation by pressing the back button of 

the Internet Browser; or select a button from the TSBroadcaster navigation bar. 
A typical TSBroadcaster error message display is shown below. 

 

The TSBroadcaster provides the following error messages. 

 

Duplicate value  Attempt to create a second example of something that must be 

unique 

Attempt to enter a value that is out of range 

Attempt to omit a value that must be present 

Attempt to select something that does not exist at this time 

An XML file omits an element that is must be present 

Invalid element  An XML file has an element that is not recognized 

An XML file has an outer element that is not recognized
