These tests verify the ability to modify DHCT authorizations. If the actual results 

differ from the stated results, note the differences and attempt to troubleshoot the 

condition. 

 

1. 

Tune the DHCT to an encrypted segment for which the DHCT is authorized. 
Result:  You can view the segment at the DHCT. 
Notes:   
 

2. 

Remove the DHCT’s authorization for the package to which the DHCT is 

tuned. 
Results:   
• 

You can no longer view the segment at the DHCT. 

• 

An unauthorized barker appears. 

Notes:   
 

3. 

Add the DHCT’s authorization that you just removed back into the package. 
Result:  You can view the segment at the DHCT.
