Activate the Old System Release
Introduction
You can use the following procedure to restore the Enterprise 450 or Sun Fire V880
DNCS, provided you have not already enabled disk mirroring on the DNCS.
Restoring the Old System Release
Follow this procedure to restore the system software that was in place prior to the
unsuccessful upgrade to SR 2.5 or SR 3.5.

example; the output you see will be based upon whatever system release your
system supported before the unsuccessful upgrade to SR 2.5 or SR 3.5.

Write down the version of the system release are you trying to restore.
Example: In the examples used in this procedure, you are trying to restore
SR 2.2.

If necessary, follow the procedures in Appendix A to stop the system
components.

If necessary, follow these instructions to log on to an xterm window on the
DNCS as root user.
a) Type su - and then press Enter.
b) Type the root password and then press Enter.

Type lustatus and then press Enter.
Result: The system displays the status of the LiveUpgrade boot environment.
