Introduction 
If your system appears unstable after installing the Alarm Manager 
software, call Cisco Services. Engineers at Cisco Services will guide 
you through steps necessary to troubleshoot your system. In rare 
circumstances, Cisco Services may instruct you to uninstall the Alarm 
Manager software. Follow the instructions in this chapter to uninstall 
the Alarm Manager software. 
Important:  Be sure you call Cisco Services before uninstalling the 
Alarm Manager software. 
How Will You Uninstall the NMI Software? 
You have two choices when uninstalling the NMI software. 
 
You can uninstall the NMI software directly from the DNCS. To 
uninstall the NMI software directly from the DNCS, follow the 
instructions in Uninstall the NMI Software Directly From the 
DNCS (on page 69). 
 
You can uninstall the NMI software remotely from the Alarm 
Manager server. To uninstall the NMI software remotely from the 
Alarm Manager server, follow the instructions in Uninstall the 
NMI Software Remotely From the Alarm Manager Server (on page 
72). 
Important Notice to Engineers 
If any portion of the Alarm Manager software fails to uninstall 
properly, call Cisco Services for assistance.
