Some menus may not appear in the display depending on options or 
models. If so, it is not applicable to your machine (see "Menu overview" on 
page 28).

 Press 

 (Menu)> Network on the control panel.

Selects the appropriate protocol and configure 
parameters to use the network environment.

 

There are many of parameters to be set. If you are 
not sure, leave as is, or consult the network 
administrator.

 

Selects this option to use the network environment 
through IPv6 (see "IPv6 configuration" on page 142).

Configure the network transmission speed and active 
port.

Selects this option to use the Wi-Fi network.

You can activate or deactivate the following protocols.

•

HTTP: You can set whether to use SyncThru™ Web 
Service or not.

 

Turn the power off and on after you change this 
option.

 

•

SCP: You have to enable this option to use Samsung 
Cloud Print service.

•

PrinterOn: You have to enable this option to use  
PrinterOn service.

•

WINS:  You can configure the WINS server. 
WINS(Windows Internet Name Service) is used in the 
Windows operating system.

 

Turn the power off and on after you change this 
option.

 

•

SNMPv1/v2: You have to enable this option to use 
SNMP V1/V2 protocol. Administrator’s can use SNMP 
to monitor and manage machines on the network.
