A 2-way intercom is possible between your handset and the base unit or
another handset.

•The paged unit will ring for 1 minute.

•To stop paging, press (OFF).

When the paged party answers, talk into the
handset.

•You can switch to the speaker by pressing

You can place the handset on the charger and
talk to the other party. 
To switch back to the receiver, press

To end the intercom, press 

if using

the speakerphone, or press 

(OFF)

When an intercom call is being received, the
handset rings and the display shows the calling
extension.

•You can also answer the call by pressing any dialing button (0) to (9), (*) or (#)

(Any Key Talk).

•If you set the Auto Talk feature to ON (p. 16), you can answer a call by lifting the

handset off the charger.

•If you have difficulty hearing the other party when using the speakerphone,

decrease the speaker volume by pressing Ö.

•If an incoming call is being received, you will hear two tones (incoming call

tone, p. 47). 
– For KX-TG2700/KX-TG2730 users: To answer, press (OFF) and press
