If the base unit is reset to its default settings 
(Seite 29), the following SMS-related settings will 
be reset.

*1 If you reset the base unit by selecting 

“Österreich” as the country (Seite 29), the 
default setting will be “0800201203”.

*2 If you reset the base unit by selecting 

“Österreich” as the country (Seite 29), the 
default setting will be “0800201267”.

*3 If you reset the base unit by selecting 

“Österreich” as the country (Seite 29), this 
setting is not shown.

If the base unit is reset to its default settings, 
the contents of the receive and send lists will 
be erased.

Private mailboxes can be used for sending and 
receiving SMS messages. Each private mailbox 
is password protected.

Press {j/OK}.

Select “SMS”, then press {>}.

Select “Allgemein”, then press {>}.

Select “Einstellungen”, then press {>}.

Enter “0000” (default base unit PIN).

If you changed the PIN, enter it (Seite 29).

Select “Private Mailbox”, then press 
{>}

.

Select the desired new mailbox number 
(“Mailbox1” to “Mailbox6”), then press 
{>}

.

Enter a name for the mailbox (5 characters 
max., Seite 40), then press {j/OK}.

Enter a 4-digit password for the mailbox, then 
press {j/OK}.

Select “Speichern”, then press {>}.

Press {ih}.

To receive SMS messages using a mailbox, 
inform others of your mailbox number.

You can change the password or name of the 
private mailbox and erase the mailbox.

Press {j/OK}.

Select “SMS”, then press {>}.

Select “Allgemein”, then press {>}.

Select “Einstellungen”, then press {>}.

Enter “0000” (default base unit PIN).

C/T}, press {j/OK}, select “Ja”, press 

{>}

, then press {ih} to finish.

Enter a 4-digit password for the mailbox, then 
press {j/OK}.

Select “Speichern”, then press {>}.

Press {ih}.

Hinweis:

If you change the name of a mailbox which has 
messages in the receive list, the messages will 
remain in the receive list under the new 
mailbox name.

If you erase a mailbox, its messages will also 
be erased.
