Panasonic KX-P7510 Operating Guide

The following section explains how to install a 32 or 64 MB DRAM SIMM on the KX-P7500 Series.

To install the SIMM you will need to do the following:

•

Remove the printer cover from the right of the printer. See 

•

Install a SIMM in the empty SIMM slot on the printer controller board or replace a SIMM.

•

Replace the printer cover. See 

•

To prevent static electricity damage to certain components (see 

), touch a grounded 

metal surface, such as the printer’s bare metal frame prior to touching the component.

•

The SDRAM does not be supported.

•

Do not drop or bend the SIMM.

•

Do not touch the connector edge of the SIMM.

•

Protect the SIMM from static electricity by keeping it in its antistatic package until you are ready to 
install it.

•

Avoid exposing the SIMM to direct sunlight, high temperatures, or humidity.
