Note:
R If you receive an outside call while talking on the

intercom, you hear interrupt tones. To answer the
call, hang up the intercom, then answer the outside
call.

MRECALLN / M

N cannot be used to answer

outside calls.

R When paging the cordless handset, the paged

cordless handset beeps for 1 minute.

To page the base unit, press M0N.
To page another cordless handset, press the
desired cordless handset number.
R The base unit or the destination cordless handset

will beep (be paged) for 1 minute.

R To stop paging, press M

N.

When the paged party answers, talk into the cordless
handset.

To end the intercom call, press M

N.

MINTERCOMN

To page one cordless handset, press the desired
cordless handset number.
To page all cordless handsets, press M0N.
R The destination cordless handset(s) will beep (be

paged) for 1 minute.

R To stop paging, press MSP-PHONEN or

MINTERCOMN.

When the paged party answers, talk into MMICN.

To end the intercom call, press MSP-PHONEN or
MINTERCOMN.

Cordless handset locator
You can locate a misplaced cordless handset by
pressing MLOCATORNM0N on the base unit.
R All registered cordless handsets beep for 1 minute.
To stop paging, press MLOCATORN again.

With the cordless handset
When the cordless handset is being paged, it will beep
(be paged) and the ringer indicator will flash rapidly. The
display will show the paging extension’s number.

Press M

N or M N to answer the page.

To end the intercom call, press M

N.

With the base unit
When the base unit is being paged, it will beep and
display the paging extension’s number.

Press MSP-PHONEN, MINTERCOMN or lift the
handset to answer the page.

To end the intercom call, press MSP-PHONEN,
MINTERCOMN or replace the handset.

Press MSP-PHONEN or MINTERCOMN to answer the
page.

To end the intercom call, press MSP-PHONEN or
MINTERCOMN.

Outside calls can be transferred between a cordless
handset and the base unit, and between 2 cordless
handsets using the intercom feature.

Cordless handset:
During an outside call, press 

 to put the call on

hold.
R

 flashes to indicate the outside call is on hold.

Cordless handset:
To page the base unit, press M0N.
To page another cordless handset, press the
desired cordless handset number.

Base unit (KX-FC275):
Press MSP-PHONEN or lift the handset to answer the
page.

Base unit (KX-FC265):
Press MSP-PHONEN to answer the page.

Another cordless handset:
Press M

N or M N to answer the page.

Cordless handset:
To complete the transfer, press M

N.

To establish a conference call, press M3N.
R To leave the conference, press M

N. The other

parties can continue the conversation.

Note:
R After the paging party disconnects, you can talk to the

outside caller.

Transferring a call without speaking to the base unit
user/other cordless handset user
After step 2, press M

N.

R The outside call rings at the base unit or the other

cordless handset.
