PHONE
}, {LOCATOR/INTERCOM} or 
replace the handset.
Cordless handset 1:
When finished talking, press {ih} or place 
the cordless handset on the charger.
Note:

If the cordless handset user has difficulty 
hearing the base unit user, ask the base 
unit user to decrease the speaker volume 
by pressing {B}.
Cordless handset locator
Using this feature, you can locate a cordless 
handset if it has been misplaced.
9.4 Transferring calls / 
Conference calls
Outside calls can be transferred to the base unit 
or to a cordless handset.
2 people can have a conference call with an 
outside party.

Keep the front cover page open for button 
locations.
9.4.1 From a cordless handset to 
the base unit
Example: When cordless handset 1 transfers 
a call to the base unit
1. Cordless handset 1:
During an outside call, press {INT} and {0} to 
page the base unit.
L
The outside call will be put on hold.
L
If there is no answer, press {INT} to return 
to the outside call.
2. Base unit:
Press {LOCATOR/INTERCOM}, {DIGITAL 
SP-PHONE
} or lift the handset to answer the 
page.
L
The base unit user can talk with cordless 
handset 1 user.
3. Cordless handset 1:
To complete the call transfer, press {ih}.
To establish a conference call, press {3}.
To transfer a call without speaking to the 
base unit user
After step 1, press {ih} on the cordless 
handset 1.
If the transferred call is not answered within 60 
seconds, the cordless handset 1 will ring again. 
Press {INT} to return to the outside call.
9.4.2 From the base unit to a 
cordless handset
Example: When the base unit transfers a call 
to cordless handset 1
1. Base unit:
During an outside call, press 
{
LOCATOR/INTERCOM} and {1} (desired 
cordless handset number) to page the 
cordless handset.

The outside call will be put on hold.

If there is no answer, press 
{
LOCATOR/INTERCOM} to return to the 
outside call.
