Remote Programming by SMS Messages 
In addition to the processes described in the section Remote activation and deactivation of the outputs, it is also possible to
carry out other remote procedures through the transmission of various SMS messages.
User code Modify 
The default user code is ‘000000’; to change it, send an SMS message consisting of the characters “#CUC” followed by the old
User code and the new User code between * characters, in accordance with the following formula:
#CUC*User PIN*New User PIN*
A SMS of confirmation will be received if the User Code has been changed.
The User code may only consist of numbers from 0 to 9 (maximum 6 digits).
To comply with the EN50136-2:2013 standards the code must be of 6 digits
Enable or disable remote programming
Remote programming makes it possible to use the functionality of the DLS 5 Console via a network. In order to remotely manage
the parameters of the Alarm Communicator, remote programming must be enabled.
This can be done using the DLS 5 Console (see the Programming via PC->Network setting), or by sending an SMS message
consisting of the characters “#UWS” followed by the User code and “ON” between * characters, in accordance with the following
formula:
#UWS*User Code*ON*
To disable the Remote Programming, send the following SMS message:
#UWS*User Code*OFF*
A text message will confirm if the command was successful.
Installer Code Modify
The Installer Code (maximum 6 digits) is used for accessing the remote programming interface (see the Programming via PC- >Op-
tions-
>Installer Authentication. The default installer PIN is ‘111111’; to change it, send an SMS message consisting of the char-
acters “#CIC” followed by the old Installer PIN and the new Installer PIN between * characters, in accordance with the following
formula:
#CIC*Installer PIN*New Installer PIN*
The Installer PIN may only consist of numbers from 0 to 9 (maximum 6 digits).
To comply with the EN50136-2:2013 standards the code must be of 6 digits.
A SMS of confirmation will be received if the Installer PIN has been changed.
Level 4 Code Modify
The default Level 4 PIN is ‘222222’; to change it, send an SMS message consisting of the characters “#CMC” followed by the old
Level 4 PIN and the new Level 4 PIN between * characters, in accordance with the following formula:
#CMC*Level 4 PIN*New Level 4 PIN*
The Level 4 PIN may only consist of numbers from 0 to 9 (maximum 6 digits).
A SMS of confirmation will be received if the Level 4 PIN has been changed.
