FILE menu



New Account: the command “New Account”, creates a new customer and assign the Default values to all parameters of pro-
gramming.



Account Group Maintenance: to group multiple customers.



Recent Files: to select an existing customer.



Exit: the command closes the DLS 5 Console. You will be asked to save the changed data of the current installation.



VIEW menu



Start Page: corresponds to click on the field Start Page.



Operators on Line: list of the connected Operators.



Open Accounts: list stored Accounts.



Communication Jobs: list communication session alternatively click on 

.



Recent Activity: list of the recent activities.



TOOLS menu



Language Manager: to edit, import / export, create a new language.



DLS 5 v1.50 Operator Maintenance: in this window, the administrator can change the password for the DLS 5 Console and set
the password for any user (with the possible operational limitations -Edit Operator Role) always for the DLS 5 Console.



Modem Manager Maintenance: in this window you set the type of connection: PC LINK and the communication port.



Edit Current User: see note in the previous page to change the DLS 5 Console language.



Back-up/Restore Database: to set options to manage the DATABASE.



Recycle Bin: select the system and delete it.



WINDOW menu



Close all TABs: close all open programming tables.



Start Page: corresponds to click on the field Start Page.



HELP menu



Info DLS 5: to see the version of DLS 5 Console. 



End User License Agreement: to read the text of the license agreement.



Updates: check for Updates-Show the Installed Updates-Manually Install Update.



Send Feedback: to send any comment to the manufacturer.

 Global Upload: if this icon is selected, the data programmed on the board is loaded onto the PC.

 Global Download: if this icon is selected, the programmed data is sent to the board. Sending all of the device settings or

some pages to the device will reset the Communicator.

 Save.

 Connect only.

 Communicate Tags.

 Upload Event Log.

 Clear all Tags.

 Disconnect when completed.

 Programming/Audio and Import/Export.

 Select User (Normal User, Installer, Level 4 Installer): clicking on this icon it is possible to select the Access Level (see fol-

lowing parameter).

Option Name search: enter the option name to search in the DLS 5 Console.
