Setting time and date
The VS300’s internal clock uses a backup battery, and therefore maintains an accurate time and date, 
even during power outages. The time and date needs to be set when the transmitter is first installed, 
or after a power outage if the backup battery has failed. 
You can set the time and date using the remote AUI (see 
) or using the local front 
panel display (see 
“Using the front panel” on page 2-36
).
Using the AUI
You can remotely set the VS300’s time and date from the AUI’
Set Time & Date page - see 
Figure 2.26
. To view the 
Set Time & Date page
, click on the time or date in the upper, left corner of 
any AUI page.

The 
Set Time & Date page
 contains editable fields for the date (month, day and year) and time 
(hours, minutes and seconds). The clock is displayed in 24-hour format.
Use the up and down buttons to increase or decrease the desired value in the specific field. Click the 
OK
 button to accept changes or click the 
Cancel
 button or 
X
 to discard changes and close the 
window.
