Derived Fibrinogen
This algorithm estimates the fibrinogen concentration in the sample from the PT primary curve by
calculating the absorbance increase (mE) between the beginning and the end of clot formation.
Point 1 is the point, on the primary curve, where the first derivative is maximum.
Point 2 and Point 3 are the closest points under and over Point 1 where the first derivative has a
value that is the 20% and 10% of its maximum, respectively.
The absorbance increase between Point 2 and Point 3 gives the estimation of fibrinogen
concentration in mE.
