2.  Connect the power cord, preferably to a surge protector, and power on 

the unit. 

 

3.  Make sure that the unit is operating properly by checking the front panel 

LEDs for any error indications. The system should beep for one second, 
indicating that the unit is ready for use. 

 

The handy Thecus Setup Wizard makes configuring N1200 a snap. To configure 
the N1200 using the Setup Wizard, perform the following steps: 

 

1.  Insert the installation CD into your CD-ROM drive (the host PC must be 

connected to the network). 

 
2.  The Setup Wizard Welcome Screen should launch automatically. If not, 

please browse your CD-ROM drive and double click on Setup.exe. 

 

3.  Click N1200 Setup Wizard. On the confirmation prompt, click OK.   

 

4.  Click Next. 
 

5.  Enter or browse for the installation folder for the Setup Wizard. Click Next. 

 

6.  Confirm the installation information and click Next. 

 

7.  A prompt will appear once the installation is complete. Click OK. 

 

8.  The Setup Wizard is now installed on your PC. From the Desktop, click 

Start > All Programs > Thecus > Thecus Setup Wizard > Setup 
Wizard to begin the Setup Wizard. 

 

 

 
9.  The Setup Wizard will start and automatically detect all N1200s on your 

network. If none are found, please check your connection and refer to 

 for assistance.
