Example:
If you want to generate a 455 KHz signal with a hub of +/- 15 kHz (= 30 KHz oscillation), you have to
press the switch “1M” in the field “FREQUENCY RANGE (Hz)” on the frequency generator. 
Set the 455 kHz carrier frequency with the knob “FREQUENCY”. The highest possible adjustable fre-
quency in this frequency range is ca. 2 MHz. 
1% of 2 MHz corresponds to 20 kHz (= 0.1 V). 
30 kHz is 1.5 times 20 kHz. 
Therefore, 1.5 times 0.1 V is 0.15 V.

Never exceed the max. input parameters, neither on the VCF input nor on the fre-
quency counter input, and do not cause a short circuit on the generator outputs
“TTL/CMOS-OUT” and “OUTPUT”. Otherwise you may damage or destroy the fre-
quency generator.
Danger of a mortal electric shock when exceeding the max. input parameters or
coming into contact with voltages in excess of 25 VAC or 35 VDC.
