dient zur Steuerung von 
Rohrmotoren für Jalousien, 
Rollladen und Markisen. 

The Jalousiecontrol insert 6418 U is 
used to control tubular motors of 
window blinds, roller shutters and 
sun-blinds.

pour terrasses.

U wordt gebruikt om de buismotoren 
van jaloezieën, rolluiken en

Der Jalousiecontrol Einsatz 6418 U 
ist in eine UP-Dose nach DIN 
49073-1 (Empfehlung: tiefe Dose) 
oder in ein entsprechendes 
Aufputzgehäuse einzubauen. 

The Jalousiecontrol insert 6418 U 
has to be installed in a flush-type box 
according to DIN 49073-1 
(recommendation: deep box) or into a 
corresponding surface-type housing.

49073-1 (recommandation : boîte de 
branchement profonde) ou dans un

Der UP-Einsatz 6418 U kann 
wahlweise mit oder ohne 
Neutralleiter betrieben werden. 

Beachten Sie die 
Herstellerangaben Ihres 
Rohrmotors bezüglich 
Inbetriebnahme- und 
Programmierverhaltens.  

Bei Einsatz eines Motors mit 
elektronischen Endlagenschaltern 
kann sich der UP-Einsatz 6418 U, 
in Abhängigkeit des Motorentyps, 
eventuell nicht ausreichend über 
den Motor versorgen. Tritt diese 
Situation während der 
Inbetriebnahme auf, so kann eine 
ausreichende Versorgung des UP-
Einsatzes 6418 U erreicht werden 
durch: 

1. Anschluss des Neutralleiters. 

2. Verwendung des Kondensator-

Sets 6498. 

The flush-type insert 6418 U can be 
used with or without a neutral 
conductor. 

Please refer to the information 
provided by the manufacturer of your 
tubular motor concerning the start-up 
and programming characteristics. 

If a motor with electronic limit 
switches is used, power supply of the 
UP insert 6418 U via the motor might 
not be sufficient. This depends on the 
type of motor. If this is the case 
during start-up, a sufficient power 
supply of the flush-type insert 6418 U 
can be ensured as follows: 

1.  Connection of the neutral 

conductor. 

2.  Use of the capacitor set 6498. 

Le module encastré 6418 U peut être 
utilisé, au choix, avec ou sans 
conducteur neutre. 

Respectez les indications du 
fabricant de votre moteur tubulaire en 
ce qui concerne le comportement de 
mise en service et de programmation. 

En cas d'utilisation d'un moteur avec 
interrupteurs de fin de course 
électroniques, le module encastré UP 
6418 U peut éventuellement, en 
fonction du type de moteur, ne pas 
s'alimenter suffisamment via le 
moteur. Si cela se produit lors de la 
mise en service, il est possible 
d'obtenir une alimentation suffisante 
du module encastré 6418 U via : 

1. Le raccordement du conducteur 

neutre. 

2.  L'utilisation du kit condensateur 

6498. 

Het inbouwelement 6418 U kan naar 
keuze met of zonder nulleider worden 
bedreven. 

Houdt rekening met de 
desbetreffende informatie van de 
buismotorfabrikant t.a.v. het gedrag 
tijdens de inbedrijfstelling of 
programmering.  

Bij het gebruik van een motor met 
elektronische eindstandschakelaars 
kan het inbouwelement 6418 U evt. 
via de motor niet voldoende van 
stroom worden voorzien (in 
afhankelijkheid van het motortype). 
Wanneer deze situatie tijdens de 
inbedrijfstelling optreedt, kan op de 
volgende wijze een voldoende 
voorziening van het inbouwelement 
6418 U worden gewaarborgd: 

1.  Aansluiting van de nulleider. 

2. Gebruik van de condensatorset 

6498. 

 

 

In Kombination mit einem Trennrelais 
und als Zentrale einer 
Gruppensteuerung muss immer der 
Neutralleiter angeschlossen oder das 
Kondensator-Set 6498 installiert sein. 

If the module is used in combination 
with a cut-off relay and as the central 
unit of a group control system, the 
neutral conductor must be connected 
or the capacitor set 6498 must be 
installed. 

En combinaison avec un relais de 
coupure et utilisé comme centrale 
d'une commande de groupes, le 
conducteur neutre doit toujours être 
relié ou le kit condensateur 6498 doit 
être installé. 

In verband met een scheidingsrelais 
en als centrale van een 
groepenbesturing dient altijd de 
nulleider of de condensatorset 6498 
te worden geïnstalleerd. 

 

 

Führen Sie nach der Installation 
einen allgemeinen Funktionstest 
durch.  

Lassen Sie dazu den Antrieb in beide 
Laufrichtungen bis zum Abschalten in 
die Endlagen laufen. 

Please perform a general functional 
test after the installation.  

Let the drive run into both directions 
of travel until it is switched off at the 
travel limits. 

Après l'installation, effectuez un test 
global du fonctionnement.  

Pour cela, laissez tourner 
l'entraînement dans les deux sens de 
déplacement jusqu'à la mise à l'arrêt 
en position finale. 

Voer na de installatie een algemene 
functietest uit.  

Laat hiertoe de aandrijving in beide 
draairichtingen draaien totdat deze 
uitgeschakeld wordt in de
