b) Weather Station
Open the battery compartment on the weather station's rear by pushing the
battery compartment lid downwards.
Then insert two AA/mignon batteries into the battery compartment (16) of the
weather station with correct polarity (observe plus/+ and minus/-).
Close the battery compartment again.
After inserting the batteries, the weather station will briefly display all display
segments.
Briefly after that, the indoor temperature is displayed; then the weather station
starts searching for the outdoor sensors. The channel number of the outdoor
sensor flashes in the display. The sensor search takes about  5 minutes. Do not
move the weather station during this time and do not press any buttons.
Then the weather station attempts initial reception for the DCF signal; the icon
"
" flashes in the lower right of the display (if a DCF signal is recognised).
The DCF reception attempt may take 5 minutes or more. Do not move the weather
station during this time and do not press any buttons.
Observe chapter 10 on DCF reception.
The weather station can be suspended by a nail, hook or screw using the wall
mounting hole (13).
The included standing base (17) can be used to set up the weather station on a
level, stable surface. Place the weather station in the groove deposit of the
standing base. A magnet integrated in the standing base then fastens the
weather station.
This way, the weather station can be easily removed from the standing base.

Also observe the chapter "14. Transmission Range" for setting up the outdoor
sensor and weather station.
