4. Adjustment, use
The binoculars feature a central focusing wheel (B), with which both eyepieces are simultaneously fo-
cused on the sharpest image according to the observed distance. To compensate for individual diffe-
rences between the left and right eye, the right eyepiece (A) can be adjusted separately.

Adjustment of the eye distance
- Hold the binoculars with both hands and adjust them by tilting the sides so that you can only see a
circle as field of vision. You should not be able to see any annoying shadows or edges any more.

Adjustment of the dioptre control
- Set the right eyepiece to „0“ opposite the white dot on the housing (underneath the eyepiece) by
turning it.
- Now, close your right eye and only observe using your left eye. Now, by turning the central focusing
wheel (B), adjust the binoculars so that you can see a clear, sharp image.
- Open your right eye and close your left eye.
Now, turn the right eyepiece until you can see the object clearly and sharply. Remember this setting
of the dioptre scale for later use.
- Now, both eyepieces are adjusted in the same way and you only need to use the central focusing
wheel to observe objects at different distances.
- The protruding eye cups shield your eyes against stray light. If you are wearing eyeglasses while
using the binoculars, retract the eye cups (C) so that they rest around the eyepiece.
- When wearing eyeglasses while using the binoculars, please pay attention to the correct distance
between the binoculars and the eyeglasses; on the one hand, to prevent damaging the eyeglasses
and on the other hand, to be able to engage the full field of vision.
- If you are far- or near-sighted, you should use the binoculars without your eyeglasses and adjust the
sharpness using the central focusing wheel or in the case of one-sided visual impairment, make addi-
tional adjustments using the right eyepiece.
- Set the right eyepiece to „0“ opposite the white dot on the housing (underneath the eyepiece) by
turning it.
- Now, close your right eye and only observe using your left eye. Now, by turning the central focusing
wheel (B), adjust the binoculars so that you can see a clear, sharp image.

- Now, both eyepieces are adjusted in the same way and you only need to use the central focusing
wheel to observe objects at different distances.
- The protruding eye cups shield your eyes against stray light. If you are wearing eyeglasses while
using the binoculars, retract the eye cups (C) so that they rest around the eyepiece.
- When wearing eyeglasses while using the binoculars, please pay attention to the correct distance
between the binoculars and the eyeglasses; on the one hand, to prevent damaging the eyeglasses
and on the other hand, to be able to engage the full field of vision.
- If you are far- or near-sighted, you should use the binoculars without your eyeglasses and adjust the
sharpness using the central focusing wheel or in the case of one-sided visual impairment, make addi-
tional adjustments using the right eyepiece.

5. Maintenance and cleaning
Only use the cleaning cloth included in delivery or another soft cloth such as an eyeglasses cleaning
cloth e.g. to clean the lenses. As an alternative, you can use a soft cleaning brush. In the event of
stubborn residual dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with pure alcohol or lens cleaner from a specialist
camera shop.
Never disassemble the binoculars for cleaning purposes! Store the binoculars in a dry and dust-free
place and always in the closed case. Always put the dust caps on the eyepieces and lenses when not
in use.
