Operation
Repelling of animals through sound and LED lights
Point the sound exit opening (2) towards the animal that you want to repel and keep holding button
“D” (4) down. The ultrasonic sound of the animal repeller is activated and the LED lights (1) are
flashing fast as long as the button is pressed.
The ultrasonic sound is not audible to the human ear. Perhaps a quite crackling noise
can be heard when the ultrasonic transducer is enabled/disabled; that is normal.
Activating built-in siren
Press the button “P” (6) (either briefly or hold down). The animal repellent’s loud siren sound is
activated. To terminate the siren, press again button “P” briefly.
Use as torch
When the button “T” (5) is held down, the in-built LED lights (1) are activated and the animal repel-
ler can be used as a simple torch. The LED lights go out when the button is released.
Maintenance and cleaning
The product is maintenance-free for you, apart from the occasional battery replacement. Inside
the product are no components that need to be maintained by you.
Use a clean, dry and soft cloth for cleaning. Do not apply too much pressure on the housing; this
could result in scratch marks.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these
could damage the housing or even impair operation.

Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with
the symbol opposite to indicate that disposal in domestic waste is prohibited. The des-
ignations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead.

•  The product must not become damp or wet.

•  The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children.

•  Use the product only to repel animals.

•   Use the product against an animal only, if the animal has ways to escape.

•   However, not all animals respond with flight to the annoying sound, the flashing LED
lights or the sound of the siren.

•   The high volume of the siren sound can lead to hearing impairment.

•   Do not operate the device in environments where there are high levels of dust, flam-
mable gases, vapours or solvents. There is a danger of fire and explosion!

•   Do not carelessly leave the packaging material lying around since this may become
a dangerous toy for children.

Battery and accumulator instructions
•  Batteries/rechargeable batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.
•  Do not let batteries/rechargeable batteries lie around openly. There is a risk of batteries being
swallowed by children or pets. If they are swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
•  Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries may cause acid burns when coming into
contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves.
•  Liquids leaking from batteries/rechargeable batteries are very chemically aggressive. Objects
or surfaces coming into contact with these liquids might be considerably damaged. Thus, store
batteries/rechargeable batteries in a suitable location.
•  Normal/rechargeable batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into a fire. There
is a risk of explosion!
•  Do  not  recharge  standard,  non-rechargeable  batteries,  danger  of  explosion!  Only  charge  re-
chargeable batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
•  Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the 9 V block battery or rechargeable bat-
tery (pay attention to the negative/- and positive/+ terminals).
•  If you intend to use a rechargeable battery, bear in mind that this may lead to a shorter service
life (e.g., NiMH batteries will self-discharge).
Therefore, we recommend that you use only a high-quality alkaline battery to operate
the animal repeller in order to ensure long-lasting and reliable operation.
