1. DESCRIPTION
AXEL RI is a tubular motor designed for rolling shutters, blinds and awnings.
It features an integrated receiver (434,15MHz) with remote limit setting and remote user programmable
intermediate stop. It works with QCT3S or QCT34S transmitters.
Motor’s memory capacity: maximum of 28 transmitters.
Transmitters’ range: 20 m indoor and 300 m outdoor.
2. USER MODE (TRANSMITTERS BUTTON)
Prog-TX: you record the transmitter;
Prog-FC: you set the limit switch;
UP: the motor lifts the rolling shutter/awning up;
STOP: the rolling shutter/awning stops;
DOWN: the rolling shutter/awning goes down.
ATTENTION: AXEL RI must be always installed in the tube first before putting it into action since
the electronic control of the speed variation do not enable the motor to turn if the limit switch drive
do not turn with it.
3. INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
- The mounting distance between two motor heads should not be less than 1/2m;
- Before the installation any unuseful wire must be removed and whatever unnecessary device must be
disactivated;
- Insert the adaptor in the AXEL RI distinguishing between the limit switch drive (A) and the drive pulley
(B);
WARNING! The pulley must be inserted in the motor’s output shaft by the right side and only
pushing it by hand; do not use any tool.
- Insert the fixing clip in the drive pulley and turn it till it blocks;
- The tubular motor fixing bracket (C) must be fixed inside the box or on the awning’s framework.
The tube (F) must be placed perfectly horizontal and not less than 1.8 m high;
- Insert the AXEL RI motor (E) in the tube (F) up to the limit switch driving ring.
WARNING! Do not hit on the motor square pin (D) to introduce it in the tube.
IMPORTANT: the minimum tube diameter is 50x1.5 mm. Place the motor square pin (D) in the fixing
bracket (C) and the cap at the opposite extremity of the tube on its bracket.
WARNING! The tube fixing screws do not have to touch the motor. Please use the right screws or
the fixing clips.
