If a digit is pressed, the display shows 
Enter point 
number: #
. As soon as a digit key is pressed, the 
display changes to 
Entering point number:
 
(# is the point number entered) 
If you know the point number you wish to bypass, 
enter the number and press the 
Enter> soft key or 
the 
ENTER button. 
If you don’t know the number of the point you 
wish to bypass, you can view the list of devices that 
can be bypassed by pressing the 
Next> soft key. 
Continuously pressing 
Next> scrolls through the 
available points that can be bypassed. 
When the point text of the point you wish to 
bypass appears, press the 
Bypass> soft key. 
One of the following messages displays (FRONT 
DOOR is used here as an example): 
 
FRONT DOOR is not bypassed
 indicates the 
point is not bypassed and the option is given 
to bypass it. 
 
 
FRONT DOOR is now bypassed.
 indicates 
the point was successfully bypassed. 
 
 
FRONT DOOR is already bypassed. 
indicates that the point has already been 
bypassed. 
 
 
FRONT DOOR cannot by bypassed. 
indicates the system is programmed not to 
allow that point to be bypassed. 
 
 
Invalid point Please try again.
 indicates that 
the entered point doesn’t exist and the display 
returns to allow another point to be entered. 
 
 
No additional points.
 indicates that there are 
no more points that can be bypassed.

You can return to idle text by pressing 
<Exit.

If the bypassed point is a 24-hour point, the 
message 
24Hr Point Bypassed
 begins alternating 
in the display with 
A1 AREA IS OFF
 
 
If the bypassed point is a Fire Point, the message 
Fire Point Bypassed
 begins alternating in the 
display with 
A1 AREA IS OFF
