Default Level
2: System level
Parameters
file-name: File name, whose extension name must be .cfg.
safely: Sets the configuration saving mode to safe. If this argument is not specified, the configuration
file is saved in fast mode.
Description
Use the save file-name command to save the current configuration to the specified configuration file,
but the system will not specify the file as the startup configuration file for the next system startup. If the
file specified by file-name does not exist, the system will create the file and then save the configuration
to the file.
Use the save [ safely ] command to save the current configuration to a configuration file and specify the
file as the startup configuration file for the next system startup.
Note that:
If you use the save file-name command, even if the configuration file auto-save function is enabled, the
SMB does not automatically save the current configuration to its own configuration file. If you do not
specify the file-name argument, the SMB automatically saves the current configuration when the AMB
executes the save [ safely ] command.
Related commands: reset saved-configuration, display current-configuration, display
saved-configuration.
