Installation Instructions
Install the Tie-Down Bar
Tie-down bars can be installed to secure cabling on the rear of the bay assembly rack. The tie-down bar
can be used to provide a diverse path for redundant power feeds and cables. Up to eight tie-down bars
can be installed in the four-shelf bay assembly rack, one on each side of each bay (

Step 1
To attach a single tie-down bar, align the ends of the tie-down bar with two screw holes located in the
vertical rack frame. The L-shaped bends with screw holes at the ends of the tie-down bar should point
outward away from the bays.

Step 2
Attach the tie-down bar to the rack with two screws.
