Media Sources
Your printer has two built-in paper cassette feeders. The top feeder holds the 100 sheet
multipurpose cassette; the second feeder holds the standard 250 sheet cassette. These
two cassettes provide an input capacity of approximately 350 sheets of 17 lb bond (64
g/m
2
) to 21.7 lb (81.4 g/m
2
) plain paper for the standard cassette and 17 lb bond (64
g/m
2
) to 34 lb (128 g/m
2
) plain paper for the multipurpose cassette. You can add an
optional feeder and cassette.
All media sources can be used to increase the capacity for a single media size with the
tray chaining option or as sources for different sizes or types of media.
