Clock In - General
Maximum Daily Clock Ins
q Each employee can clock in/out 6 times between Period
1 resets. On the 7th attempt to clock in, the following
message appears on the CRT screen:
TABLE FULL
With MagStripe Reader
q When a MagStripe reader is in use at a workstation, the
employee card is swiped through the MagStripe reader
instead of indexing the employee I.D. number. The sys-
tem will not prompt for a Secret Code number.
Server Secret Codes
q Servers are prompted to assign themselves a secret
code when clocking in. It can be from 1 to 3 digits.
q The system will not prompt for a Secret Code if POS Op-
tion #52 Auto Generated Secret Codes, is set to YES.

The secret code # assigned to the server by the
system will print on the Guest Check Printer after
the job description # is entered.
q If a server forgets the secret code #, it will display on
the Server Report when viewed on the screen through
the Reports Menu from the Manager Key Menu.
Table Assignments
q For Table tracking systems, if specific Table #’s are not
assigned to servers, the prompt for Table # can be sup-
pressed through POS Option #83 Prompt For Table No.
