3. Check displays with every line numbered. If necessary,

press {ENTER} to reach the end of the check.

7. Index line number of a menu item to assign to this sep-

arate check #, press {ENTER}.

8. The check again redisplays with all remaining items line

numbered.

9. Repeat steps #5-7 until all menu items are assigned to

a separate check #.

10. Press {SEND} or {PRINT~PRE-CHECK} to exit the procedure.
