The following is a table listing manager functions and a brief

definition of each one. Afterwards, the individual procedures

completed through each function are outlined in detail.

Use this function to void items after the order is sent to

prep areas.

Use this function to void an entire check before payment.

The open check is automatically closed.

Use this function to account for cash withdrawals from

the drawer like charge tip payments and small pur-

chases. Can also correct paid out entries.

Use this function to:

- change accountability of guest checks from one server

to another,

- change the guest count on a guest check, or

- merge (combine) two open checks into one. Applica-

tions include shift changes; bar patrons moving to dining

room; adding members to a table; etc.

Use this function to:

- assign employees to a cash drawer,

- assign a starting bank to a cash drawer, or

- assign a starting bank to servers for server banking.

Assignments are by terminal. System allows up to 2

drawers (labeled A and B) per terminal. Only Restaurant

Mode terminals default servers and cashiers to the Any

Cash Drawer A assignment.

All Cashier/Bar Mode terminals must have a cash drawer

assignment. Servers should use the {START~CHECK} key (A

or B) which corresponds to their cash drawer assignment

to update cash drawer reports correctly.

Use this function to:

- Change server keyboards by terminal(s) for keyboard

entry terminals. System allows up to 8 different versions.

- Change the default Item Display Group assigned by job

description on Touch Screen terminals.

Use this function to change the price level of menu items

at selected terminals. System allows up to 5 different

price schedules assigned by terminal. Application includes

lunch to dinner menus

Use this function to reroute items to another remote

printer or to stop all printing at a remote printer by ter-

minal. Application includes high/low volume periods.
