Guest Check Tracking
The way the system keeps track of checks depends on the
tracking mode selected, Check Mode or Table Mode. It ap-
plies to the entire system - all workstations.

Check Tracking Mode
q Checks are tracked by a check number automatically
assigned by the system when a check is opened.
q Check numbers begin at “1” after each day’s reset and
are consecutively numbered.
q The check number cannot be assigned by the server.
q Checks can only be opened with a START CHECK type
key on both Restaurant and Cashier/Bar workstations.
Table Tracking Mode
q Checks are tracked by a table number. That number
can be entered by the server when opening a check on
Restaurant workstations.
q Table numbers are automatically assigned when a
START CHECK type key is used to start a check.
q Table Numbers for Servers

Table numbers 1 through 999 are reserved by the
system for servers.
•
Servers can be assigned specific tables at clock-in if
wanted. Doing so prohibits other servers from
opening checks for those tables.
q Table Numbers Used by the System
•
Table numbers beginning with number 1001 are
reserved for the system to assign to tables.
