Management
Used to access another menu of functions which can
have a higher security level than the Manager Key Menu.
System Reset - Updates cumulative totals; resets se-
lected period to zero. Archives report, paid check and
database files. Creates extended reports. Restaurant op-
erations are terminated during this procedure.
Delete Check - Subtracts dollar values for a paid-out
check by reentering check with negative values. Check
must be reentered as it was originally to properly correct
all affected reports.
Reset Cash Drawer - Closes indicated drawer by termi-
nal, returning totals to zero. Allows tracking for another
shift and/or employee.
Reset Individual Server - Clears a particular (one)
server’s period totals. Does not affect daily totals. Applies
to servers no longer employed and no longer needing to
be tracked.
Training Mode - Turns training on and off. Controlled by
Employee #300 thus enabling a terminal to perform nor-
mal sales operations as well as training operations.
Inventory Clear - Zeros out all figures on the Inventory
Report except the opening values which were the previ-
ous closing values. Updates the Inventory Report after
entering a physical (closing) count.
MOP Adjustment - Transfers $ values from one MOP to
another MOP and/or adds in a tip for checks which were
tendered incorrectly.
Write Files - Saves all current restaurant totals (and
Programming Tables) to the hard drive. An option is
available to also write to a floppy disk for backup
purposes.
Reset Guest Info - Clears the Guest Info Report if in
use for a 3rd party interface application.
Print Reset Reports - Used to print reports generated
during system resets on a printer when the audit trail is
set up to output to the hard drive
