Communicating across routers
Since Windows and UNIX environments depend on TCP/IP to communicate with the
Q52, crossing routers can be an issue.

After following one of the Q52 configuration methods described above, you will only be
able to communicate with the Zigbee bridge device from the same subnet. This means
that the Q52 will not be able to communicate across a router (i.e., to another subnet).

To allow the Q52 to communicate across a router, it is best to store a default
router/gateway within the Zigbee bridge device so that any packets destined for another
subnet are forwarded to this router automatically. The router (or series of routers) can
