If desired, the LC unit can be interfaced with a
Timer. A Timer allows the user to engage or
disengage certain system functions on a time
schedule. A typical application of a Timer would
be at a perimeter door that has high traffic
during the day but almost not traffic at night.
During the day it may make sense to allow the
free ingress and egress of staff and visitors, but
at night, locking the door would mean added
security for staff and residents.
