• Then press the „Ein“ (= „On“) key briefly. The display

switches to the presently set switch-on threshold; display
shows „Ein“ (= „On“).

The value can be set using the „+“ or „-“ keys in steps of
0.1°C.

Pressing  „+“ or „-“ a little longer activates the quick
adjustment mode. This make even large changes
in the temperature values easy and quick.

The programming mode is automatically closed when the
key is pressed for about 6 seconds. Alternatively, press the
„Man/Auto“ key briefly to save the value.

• The switch-off threshold is programmed in a manner similar

to the switch-on threshold, except that to start with the „Aus“
(= „OFF“) key is pressed briefly.

Example:
Program a switch-on threshold of 21.0°C and a switch-off
threshold of 22.0°C. „UT 100“ recognises from it that here it
involves heating process (switch-off threshold is higher than
the switch-on threshold) and displays „Heizen“ (= „Heating“)
on the display.

For a refrigerator with a defective thermostat, you could
program a switch-on threshold of 9.3°C and a switch-off
threshold of 8.1°C. „UT 100“ displays „Kühlen“ (= „Cooling“)
on the display, since the switch-off threshold is lower than the
switch-on threshhold.
