Always use fryer on a stable, dry and level heat-resistant surface, away from any edge.
Always make sure fryer is completely dry before adding vegetable oil for cooking.
Fill fryer with vegetable to the MAX fill line, about 8 cups. Do not fill fryer beyond
M AX fi l l l i n e t o p r e v e n t b o i l -o v e r o f h o t o i l wh e n fo o d i s a d d e d .
Use only good quality vegetable oil for frying. Do not use vegetable shortening, lard,
b u t t e r , ma r g a r i n e o r o l i v e o i l fo r fr y i n g a s t h e s e a r e n o t s u i t a b l e fo r h i g h t e mp e r a t u r e

Never add water or any other liquid to oil for frying as any amount of liquid can cause
e r u p t i o n o f h o t o i l .
Always add oil to fryer before it is plugged in. Do not allow fryer to heat before oil is
a d d e d t o p r e v e n t d a ma g e t o fr y e r o r p o s s i b l e i g n i t i o n o f o i l .
Do not use fryer under a cabinet as excessive steam is emitted from cover vent which can
c a u s e d a ma g e .
Always remove any excess moisture or ice crystals from foods before frying by blotting

For even cooking, fry similar-sized pieces of food and do not overfill basket. As a

Food can be breaded or batter-coated before frying if desired. Follow recipe directions.
Foods are normally done when they float to the surface and are nicely browned. Empty

Always secure cover onto fryer whenever oil it hot. Turn cover clockwise, in direction of
a r r o ws t o s e c u r e i n p l a c e .
Never attempt to lift fryer by cover handle.
