If you are using the eSATA configuration, use the external eSATA cable 

provided in your accessories kit.

Installation Steps

To install the tape drive, perform the following tasks in this order. Follow 

the detailed instructions on the pages listed below.

Unpack and check the tape drive for shipping 

damage.

Select a location near the server or workstation 

that is to host the tape drive.

Download and install the current device driver
