Utility Page
The Utility Page provides access (via a list of “menu options”) to checklists, a count down/up timer, trip
timers, trip statistics, RAIM (Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring) prediction and software/database
version information. When a menu option is selected, the cor re sponding page appears pro viding additional
information and features.

To select a menu option from the Utility Page:
1. Press the small right knob momentarily, to activate the fl ashing cursor.
2. Rotate the large right knob to select the desired menu option, and press ENT.
The following menu options are available:
Checklists — provides up to nine different user-defi ned checklists containing up to 30 items each.
Flight Timers — provides count up/down timers, plus automatic recording of de parture time and total
trip time. Departure and total trip time recording can be con fi g ured to run either any time GNS 530
power is on, or only when your ground speed exceeds 30 knots.
Trip Statistics — provides readouts for trip odometers, average speed and max imum speed. These read-
outs are resettable (individually or all at once) by pressing MENU to dis play an options win dow.
